• Sang through as a three-part round – sopranos start, alto middle stave, tenor & bass bottom stave.
• We will be singing this from memory in the concert, so learn all the words!!

Celebrate with Music

• Clapped the rhythms in warm up to help with syncopation of words.   
• Bar 60 – revised the rhythm and then sang through bars 60 – 70
• Bars 81 – 90 sang through then worked on alleluias bars 87 – 90 then bar 95. Keep them smooth.
• Bars 98 – 99 Tenors cross out top D and F# and sing A throughout

• Read through the words of verse 1 to revise the rhythm then sang it through.
• Verse 2 (new bit) – read through the words to establish rhythm.
• Rehearsed each line of v2 separately
• Page 5 bar 44 sopranos note misprint – ‘heat’ is 2 quavers and move ‘of’ and ‘love’ to next notes – similar to alto rhythm
• Sang through verses/chorus 1 and 2
• Bar 79/80 – no breath after ‘revives’

A Life Lived with Grace

• Bar 65 last page – take care of ‘snappy’ rhythms
• Practiced bars 58 – 66 for key change and beware of tied notes over the bars; be ready for next notes
• New section – Bar 45 verse 3
• Mark in breath after ‘turning’ at bar 55
• Sang through all known sections

• Went through rhythms
• Bar 11 sops and altos – ‘go for it’ (Mary’s words!)

• Make sure to make good contrast between soft and loud to give impact
