Joining Liverpool Phoenix Voices

Within a section of the choir, prospective members need to be able to sing in tune as they become familiar with sections of the piece we are rehearsing. Basic sight-reading skills are a distinct advantage. However, enthusiasm and commitment are as important as vocal skills.

There are no auditions, but new singers will spend a short trial period (usually 4 -6
rehearsals) singing with the choir, to allow time for them to see if we are right for them and that they can show an appropriate level of vocal skill.

Rehearsals

We rehearse on Mondays from 7 – 9pm, in the Chaplaincy at Liverpool Hope University. The address is Hope Park, Childwall, L16 9JD and the campus map below shows the location of the chaplaincy. It’s number 6 on the map. There are a number of car parks on the campus and there is no charge in the evenings.
